Lost Anchored Souls

I love doing my nails because it is just a huge stress reliever and with everything going on I really need something to get my mind off of it all. So this week I sat down and decided to do a simple floral pattern. The polishes I used are... It's a little late but I am going to post my song of the week because I was just on vacation. My song of the week is Laughter Lines by Bastille. This is one of my favorite songs on the whole album. It has the best intro, it sounds like alien music. Thats the only way i can think of how to describe it. I also really love Bastille, I think they are such a creative band. This song is just beautiful and perfect. It just makes me think of the future and the love I hope to have with someone. I would say it's in my top 10 favorite songs. If you haven't heard it I would really recommend listening to it :)

This month I have been OBSESSED with listening to the artist Wet. I love every single song from the EP album that's out. My favortie song from the album may be Don't Wanna Be Your Girl, but I really just love all of the songs. I found the song on spotify randomly and loved all of the other songs as well. I would recommend listening to any of the songs. I like to listen to them before bed because the music is calm and relaxing.

The song I am in love with this week would have to be Vagabond by MisterWives. I heard it from the show Finding Carter (its the opening song). It also introduced me to the band which I love. I also love their song Coffins. But I have been listening to Vagabond all week non stop. Its just really catchy and upbeat :)

Pastels are my favorite colors, especially pink. I also really love doing my nails, and recently I found some polish that will definitely be an all time favorite. Right now Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear has limited edition pastel nail colors! I wanted to buy all of them so badly but for now I picked out two. They are some of the best colors I have ever owned, and I have a loooot of polish. The first is a yellow called Teeny Bikini. This is the first yellow that shows up really well. I used only two coats and its so pretty. Even with one coat it still looked nice and it went on smoothly. The second is a pink called You're Crabby. The color reminds me of a rose. I think it's really unique, I've never had a color like it before. There are many other pastels and I'm sure I will get them before they disappear.

I love music, but who doesnt? I listen to pretty much anything. I'm not picky about music and I love being introduced to new songs and artists. My song of the week was a little hard to pick because I've had so many I loved this week! But I made up my mind and I'd say my song of the week is Bridges by Broods. I've been listening to it non stop for nearly a month. It's genre is indie pop but I feel that it could also fit into alternative. I love listening to it in the car because its upbeat and I feel like I can dance to it ♡

I have such an urge right now to go on adventures.  I'm tired of coming home everyday after work and doing nothing. I want to feel alive. I just want to do something rather than sit here & waste my life away. I want to make memories that I can look back and smile on. I want to be proud of the life I'm living and say that I didn't waste a single moment of it. I want to live in another state, travel, and just be happy. I want to go on late night car rides, sit in the woods and watch the stars. I want friends who can experience the joy with me. I am done with these boring nights. I have wanderlust in my veins and I'm going to spend the rest of my time living ♡

These portable chargers are really awesome! I got them both at rue 21. The black one was about $15 and the pink was $5. When I went to summerfest I knew I'd be taking a lot of pictures and videos so my battery would die before the end of the night. So I bought these and I was so happy I did! They are seriously life savers especially when you know you'll be using your phone a lot :)

Oh my gosh! Okay so I may be a little late here but I tried sugar scrub for the first time tonight. I just tried it cuz I was like hey why not its only 1 cup of sugar ( I used white) and 1/2 cup of oil (I used olive oil). You can also add a fragrance to it like vanilla of lavender.  At first I was like it probably won't make my legs that smooth, it probably won't do anything. Well was I wrong!  My legs have never felt so smooth! All you do is mix the ingredients, scrub it on your legs, shave it off, and then rinse the oil off. My legs are so so smooth and I seriously want everyone to try this! Its not the best picture but this is what mine looked like :)

I wish this flavor wasn't limited edition! It is so tangy and sweet, but just the right amount of both ♡ If you can get your hands on this before its gone I highly recommend it!

These are three of my favorite scents from bath and body works and they just remind me of summer. Velvet sugar is a sweet scent and a little hard to describe, but its perfect for any occasion. Pink chiffon kind of has a very light hint of vanilla and stays on great all day. The final scent is the Endless Weekend lotion. I don't usually like a lot of lotion scents because they never smell as good as the perfume, but in this case I think its better than the perfume. It's sweet and not overpowering at all and goes great with any perfume. Another fragrence mist that I liked this summer is beautiful day. Its a little stronger than the others and isn't sweet instead it's more like dew and flowers. The smaller bottles have a deal going on where you can buy three items for $12, otherwise each bottle is $6. It's an awesome deal in my opinion because I don't like to spend a lot of money and perfume and lotions. I hope these scents are permanent in their collection because

These snacks are really good and cheap too :) I found them at walmart for about $1.50. They are healthier than potato chips and taste great too! I like the lightly salted flavor a little better than the ceaser but they are both delicous. I'm not sure if there are any other flavors but I highly recommend them.

I feel like this is me all of the time. I get so wrapped up in work and worrying about the future and what I will do with my life that I forget to have fun. This is a quote by Dolly Parton and I believe it is so true (I don't own the picture but I made the edit). I think we all need to take some time to smell the roses and appreciate what we have around us :)
