Lost Anchored Souls

With much debate and narrowing it down to only 2 artists I have decided that my artist of the month is.... Troye Sivan! He just recently released his EP Trxye on August 15th. I have to say I love every single song. Though 5 songs may not seem like much I think it's rare when you can like every single song on an album and not have to press skip to go to the next. I also feel like it's rare (especially for me) to not have a favorite song off of an album. I honestly could not choose which song I like the most, they are all fantastic. The genre is pop but it also has an alternative kind of feel to it, at least I think so. Many of the songs are at a slower pace but I don't see it making anyone sad listening to it. I also feel like I can make many connections with the music, which I believe is so important. So what are you doing just sitting there?!?! Go and listen to this awesome EP by Troye Sivan! I have been so busy this week with work and getting ready for six flags tomorrow that I nearly forgot to post my song of the week! This week a song I have been listening to non stop is Happy Little Pill by Troye Sivan. I love everything about the song, I also love Troye Sivan. It is the first song from his EP TRXYE that was released, the rest of the EP will be released August 15th (8/15/14). I love the pace of the song and it's really catchy, so it's easy to get stuck in you're head. I really hope everyone will check Troye out because he has worked really hard on everything, and I feel like he really deserves to be recognized by more people.

This month I have been OBSESSED with listening to the artist Wet. I love every single song from the EP album that's out. My favortie song from the album may be Don't Wanna Be Your Girl, but I really just love all of the songs. I found the song on spotify randomly and loved all of the other songs as well. I would recommend listening to any of the songs. I like to listen to them before bed because the music is calm and relaxing.

The song I am in love with this week would have to be Vagabond by MisterWives. I heard it from the show Finding Carter (its the opening song). It also introduced me to the band which I love. I also love their song Coffins. But I have been listening to Vagabond all week non stop. Its just really catchy and upbeat :)

Pastels are my favorite colors, especially pink. I also really love doing my nails, and recently I found some polish that will definitely be an all time favorite. Right now Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear has limited edition pastel nail colors! I wanted to buy all of them so badly but for now I picked out two. They are some of the best colors I have ever owned, and I have a loooot of polish. The first is a yellow called Teeny Bikini. This is the first yellow that shows up really well. I used only two coats and its so pretty. Even with one coat it still looked nice and it went on smoothly. The second is a pink called You're Crabby. The color reminds me of a rose. I think it's really unique, I've never had a color like it before. There are many other pastels and I'm sure I will get them before they disappear.

These portable chargers are really awesome! I got them both at rue 21. The black one was about $15 and the pink was $5. When I went to summerfest I knew I'd be taking a lot of pictures and videos so my battery would die before the end of the night. So I bought these and I was so happy I did! They are seriously life savers especially when you know you'll be using your phone a lot :)

These are three of my favorite scents from bath and body works and they just remind me of summer. Velvet sugar is a sweet scent and a little hard to describe, but its perfect for any occasion. Pink chiffon kind of has a very light hint of vanilla and stays on great all day. The final scent is the Endless Weekend lotion. I don't usually like a lot of lotion scents because they never smell as good as the perfume, but in this case I think its better than the perfume. It's sweet and not overpowering at all and goes great with any perfume. Another fragrence mist that I liked this summer is beautiful day. Its a little stronger than the others and isn't sweet instead it's more like dew and flowers. The smaller bottles have a deal going on where you can buy three items for $12, otherwise each bottle is $6. It's an awesome deal in my opinion because I don't like to spend a lot of money and perfume and lotions. I hope these scents are permanent in their collection because...
