Lost Anchored Souls

It's a little late but I am going to post my song of the week because I was just on vacation. My song of the week is Laughter Lines by Bastille. This is one of my favorite songs on the whole album. It has the best intro, it sounds like alien music. Thats the only way i can think of how to describe it. I also really love Bastille, I think they are such a creative band. This song is just beautiful and perfect. It just makes me think of the future and the love I hope to have with someone. I would say it's in my top 10 favorite songs. If you haven't heard it I would really recommend listening to it :)

I have such an urge right now to go on adventures.  I'm tired of coming home everyday after work and doing nothing. I want to feel alive. I just want to do something rather than sit here & waste my life away. I want to make memories that I can look back and smile on. I want to be proud of the life I'm living and say that I didn't waste a single moment of it. I want to live in another state, travel, and just be happy. I want to go on late night car rides, sit in the woods and watch the stars. I want friends who can experience the joy with me. I am done with these boring nights. I have wanderlust in my veins and I'm going to spend the rest of my time living ♡

I feel like this is me all of the time. I get so wrapped up in work and worrying about the future and what I will do with my life that I forget to have fun. This is a quote by Dolly Parton and I believe it is so true (I don't own the picture but I made the edit). I think we all need to take some time to smell the roses and appreciate what we have around us :)
